**About the role:**
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Technology Partnership Manager to build and manage alliances with key technology providers. This role is crucial for amplifying Tapestry's impact by integrating cutting-edge external technologies, co-developing innovative solutions, and establishing force-multiplying relationships with industry leaders in areas such as AI/ML platforms, specialized hardware, sensor technology, and cloud services.
You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships with companies like NVIDIA and other technology pioneers. Your goal is to leverage these collaborations to enhance Tapestry's core platform, accelerate our product roadmap, and create joint solutions that deliver transformative value to the energy sector. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical depth, and exceptional relationship management skills.
**How you will make 10x impact:**
+ Identify & Evaluate Tech Partners: Scout and assess potential technology partners whose capabilities can complement and enhance Tapestry's offerings.
+ Develop Joint Value Propositions: Define and articulate the "better together" story, outlining the benefits of technology integration and co-innovation for Tapestry, the partner, and our customers.
+ Structure & Negotiate Agreements: Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of various partnership agreements, including co-development, technology licensing, and joint go-to-market deals.
+ Drive Co-Innovation Projects: Collaborate with Tapestry Product and Engineering teams and partner counterparts to manage joint development lifecycles, from concept to launch.
+ Manage Alliance Lifecycle: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, ensuring alignment and driving mutual success. Develop Joint Business Plans (seeJBP Template (https://drive.google.com/open?id=13P-6aJky--wVm9C8kvSU0CNrCR7V8fSWNUTb8wwGZa8)).
+ Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the central point of contact within Tapestry for your portfolio of technology partners, orchestrating collaboration across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing.
+ Track & Measure Partnership Success: Define KPIs and metrics to track the performance and impact of technology partnerships, providing regular updates to leadership.
**What you should have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in strategic alliances, technology partnerships, business development, or product management in the technology sector.
+ Proven track record of successfully structuring and managing complex technology partnerships with companies, examples could include tech providers (like NVIDIA), software platforms, or AI/ML leaders. + Strong understanding of technology ecosystems, including cloud, AI/Machine Learning, IoT, and software development.
+ Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
**It'd be great if you also had these:**
+ Experience working in the energy industry, with utilities, renewable energy companies, or grid technology providers.
+ Familiarity with power systems, grid operations, or energy data.
+ Experience with data analysis, data pipelines, and machine learning concepts.
+ Experience creating and delivering technical training programs.
+ A passion for sustainability and tackling climate change.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000 - $210,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
