As a Technical/Operation Planner, you will play a key role within the Defence Aerospace Business by working as part of an integrated team planning and executing the delivery of engines and modules to customers in line with commitments. In this role you will be part of the operations team accountable for delivery of work packages within the Development value stream. Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Conduct short and medium term load / capacity planning for the Value Stream
- Create and maintain output plans which are used by the Operations management team to schedule and prioritise work through the Value Stream
- Create, review and report on the performance of the Value Stream, in terms of Cost, Delivery and Lead Time
- Single Point of Contact for Development vehicle plans in the Defence Assembly Shop, working with the Wider Development Technical team.
- Support the Production Leader in the effective running of the Value Stream by allocating resource and solving problems as they arise.
- Liaise with all other operations function to ensure that all material is delivered on time to meet the engine and module build requirements.
