Requirements

Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Degree / Diploma

Experience in related position and industry, with specifically the following activities:

Product Development and production technical support

Sales support and customer service

Laboratory procedures & knowledge of ISO 9001

Responsibilities
Product development, technology transfer to production & technical service to customers.

Production and laboratory operations, product BOMs.

Assist with locally manufactured products

Oversee the review, analysis and implementation of raw material changes

Responsible for all aspects of the laboratory.

Promote / maintain focus on safety and quality.

Local product costing.

Investigate / support product compliance.

Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding technical enquiries Improve local technology

Product stewardship.

Optimize operational efficiency.
