**Eaton Titchfield** **About Our Titchfield Site** Our Titchfield facility is the largest of Eaton’s Fuel and Motion Control Systems (FMC) locations in the UK, forming part of a three‑site network alongside South Molton in North Devon and Bedhampton in Hampshire. With around 500 employees, Titchfield is home to a broad community of Commercial Specialists, Engineers and Programme Managers who support both current and legacy programmes across our UK FMC operations. The site has been part of Eaton since 2005, but its heritage stretches back much further — originally serving the RAF during World War II as a manufacturing centre for barrage balloons. Today, Titchfield plays a critical role in the aerospace industry, focusing on the design, manufacture and aftermarket support of essential fuel system components for major aircraft manufacturers including Boeing and Airbus. **What you’ll do:** The position focuses on problem resolution direct and indirect material and services from major internal and external suppliers, strategic commodities, and multiple locations. The position manages the throughput of bottleneck materials by identifying and taking direct action to release technical, system or documentation issues assigned to material supply base availability for Titchfield to ensure uninterrupted availability at optimum cost, quality, and service for the site. Must be dedicated to maintaining strategic relationships and creating new ones within the organization and supply base. Maintains an essential balance between supplier quality, engineering specification adherence, delivery expectations, and materials availability. Champion problem resolution between internal functions and external material supply organizations. Critical Outputs: + Manages effective resolutions related to documentation error, technical or source changes and / or approvals for delivered materials pending release (Grief Shelf / GRI MRB). Raise essential documentation where required and expedite for approvals. + Acts and apply skillful discussions with internal and external suppliers; conducts problem resolution; develops win-win solutions and creates positive relations with tact and expert judgment. + Co-ordinates between internal functions where revision levels need system updating for material availability or manages and executes process related to non-conforming material requiring Return to Vendor. + Monitors source change adds requests and expedites through to approval, where not applicable effectively communicate action required for completion. Align with Quality function and source for FAIR documentation and requirements. Essential Functions: + Manages and maintains any required external permit and concession applications. Expedite through to completion through effective links with quality, supplier and engineering functions. + Develops and help facilitate expedite of critical form completion and signatory process for Permits, concessions, FAIR and CAF Forms. + Facilitates supplier questions on accounts payables and supports any necessary activity for disposition of invoice resolutions and/or payment issues. + Facilitates cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective material availability, take ownership of actions needed for prompt resolutions + Develop applicable skills in multi-functional processes, and gain experience in analyzing and interpreting technical change requests pertaining to quality, engineering delivery **Qualifications:** + 2+ years’ experience working within operations, material management function or quality function, desirably within Aerospace. **Skills:** Makes Decisions/Solves Problems, Drives for Results, Promotes & Champions Change, Pursues Personal Development, Demonstrates a Collaborative Style • Possesses a level of technical knowledge and experience in successfully understanding technical drawings and key characteristics related to direct material requirements • Shows track records for demonstrating leadership and thinking and acting strategically. Demonstrated experience with commodity products and internal / external suppliers. • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with diverse groups of stakeholders including senior management, operations, Quality, Engineering, SCM personnel, and external suppliers. • Knowledgeable in ERP system operations, functions, and interfaces.
