The Engineering Product Manager for Electrical systems provides strategical guidance over NPD and Products Lifecycle, Competency Management, Intellectual Property and organization’s training needs.

This role ensures proper direction of engineering effort in order to be aligned with market needs and technology strategy, with an integrated approach across all EICE verticals. Through technical leadership and collaboration, the Engineering Product Manager fosters growth and excellence in technology execution across the organization and serves as a key interface within Engineering Function and Product Leadership.

As Technical Leader, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating with Senior Principals for technology deliverablesEnsuring governance and execution of engineering policies (product, ITO etc.). Participate to PCB (Product Configuration Board) screeningContributing to EICE laboratories expansion strategySupportong System Engineering in planning and monitoring the New Product Development (NPD) deck. Supportive for NPD reviews with high technical risk and accountable for product sheets preparation according to design process.Maintaining and harmonizing Controls and Instrumentation Competency Mapping for Electrical SystemsCollaborating with the Associate Fellow to ensure product compliance with international standards and contribute to relevant technical committeesMonitoring product lifecycle, analyze market trends, and identify upgrade opportunitiesCoordinating resolution of customer issues related to Electrical systems. Act as SPT Owner for reactive cases; act as accountable for safety cases planning and on time process executionFostering a performance-driven culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and technical depth.Supporting talent development through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.


Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will have:

Master’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Automation domainSolid background in engineering standardization, validation, and testing methodologiesProven leadership in managing natural and cross-functional teamsIn-depth knowledge of international standards and active involvement in technical committeesStrategic mindset for product lifecycle management and development of standardized solutionsDemonstrated ability to contribute to technology roadmaps aligned with market and innovation trends. Familiarity with IP strategy and patent landscape analysisStrong capability in designing and delivering technical training and development programsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering, product leadership, service, procurement, legal, and innovation functionsStrong alignment with Baker Hughes’ core values, demonstrated through consistent behaviors and actions
