Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for being a hands-on leader for the eInsight Sales (B2B) application team, which is based on the SuiteCRM application. You will be responsible for driving the development of our SuiteCRM-based application. This includes building new modules, integrating with other systems, and delivering an Angular-based front-end experience. Our environment is hosted in Microsoft Azure with a MySQL backend.

Essential Functions:

Driving the team’s implementation of the product roadmapOwning the technical roadmap for the applicationExtend and optimize SuiteCRM’s backend using PHP and MySQL.Build and maintain B2B’s Angular componentsDevelop and maintain REST APIs for integrations with internal and external systemsCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutionsEnsure database integrity, performance, and query optimization for large datasetsParticipate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practicesWork with DevOps to support deployments and application monitoring in AzureStay up to date with SuiteCRM upgrades and contribute to roadmap planning for new featuresContribute and conduct development tests including but not exclusive to unit, integration and system levelFollow company software development standards and best practicesProvide estimates for development tasks based on the appropriate business constraintsMentor and support mid-level and junior developers’ workProvide on-call support as necessary

Job Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years PHP development experienceExperience leading a development teamHands-on experience with Angular (v10+) for building SPAs and integrating with RESTful APIs.Proficiency in MySQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices in CRM development.Experience with Agile (Scrum) Software Development Process and methodologiesExperience with SuiteCRM or SugarCRM is a major plusHands-on experience using testing frameworks is a plusExperience with database management and security a plus

Work Timings:

Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST to provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad. Occasional evening and weekend work may be expected in case of job-related emergencies or client needs.
