Technical Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our IT support team in Sydney. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in providing both on-site and remote technical support. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless IT service delivery and end-user satisfaction across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. **In this role you will be responsible for:** + Incident Management: Resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently. + Request Fulfilment: Install, configure, and upgrade systems, applications, and peripherals. + Hardware Lifecycle Management: Manage IMAC activities and asset disposal in compliance with policies. + VIP Support: Deliver high-touch support to senior executives and VIP users. + Break-Fix Support: Diagnose and repair defective equipment to minimize downtime. + Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain accurate asset records and tagging. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with network, server, and service desk teams to resolve complex issues. + Documentation: Maintain detailed records of issues, resolutions, and processes. + Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to IT security standards, GxP, and audit requirements. + Remote Desktop Support: Provide technical assistance remotely using support tools. + Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support end-user training and maintain technical documentation. + Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of IT services and processes. + Rotational Shifts: Participate in rotational shifts to ensure 24/7 support coverage. **To be successful in this role, your skills and experience should include:** + Technical Expertise: Windows OS, Networking, Macintosh OS X, Nexthink, Incident Management, ITSM, Remote Desktop Support, Change Lifecycle Management. + Tools & Platforms: ServiceNow, Remedy, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite. + Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. + Soft Skills: Strong communication and customer service capabilities. + Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA (a plus) **Benefits** Joining Cognizant will give you the opportunity to learn and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry, while having your finger on the pulse of emerging industry trends and working on the cutting edge of technology in your field of expertise.
