About the Role

The ideal candidate will serve as a Technical Lead responsible for crafting and developing technical solutions that align with the organization's technology strategy and methodology. This role will involve architecting multi-platform solutions using technologies like Azure, acting as a subject matter expert on networking, infrastructure, and applications, and maintaining consistency with the organization's governance processes. The Technical Lead will engage with cross-functional collaborators to ensure system stability, security, and continuous improvements are delivered within agreed timelines. Additionally, the role will involve mentoring team members, improving processes and systems, and maintaining a strategic IT plan for the organization.Roles and Responsibilities:
Craft and develop technical solutions for business need, in alignment with technology strategy and methodology.  
Architect multi-platform solutions using technologies like Azure. 
Owner of the issue resolutions. Lead & Participate in the solve of IT Applications and IT Infrastructure related incidents and issues till resolution.
Act as a SME over Networking, Infrastructure and Applications
Maintain consistency to Group governance processes - Incident & Change Management, Quality Assurance, Technology Risk, IT Security, Audit etc.
Engage and lead collaborators (e.g., Business, Governance, Senior Management, Vendors) to ensure system stability, security and improvements are delivered within agreed timeframe.
Maintain accountability and provide mentorship to BAU tasks & projects involving the IT environment.
Constantly seek ways to improve processes, systems, and cost optimization
Maintain a strategic plan for the country's IT environment in collaboration with the Regional IT Team.
Conflict Resolutions and Tasks Prioritization based on Business Priority.   

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education & Experience
University degree or above in IT or related disciplines
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in the Insurance / Health Care Industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Knowledge & Skill
Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Holder of Azure Server Certification such as Azure Administrator Certification, Solution Architect Expert or Data Engineer is essential
Expertise in development stacks like .NET Core, Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js.
Hands-on experience with databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL.
Demonstrate expertise in data management architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data hubs.
Solid experience in hands-on design and implementation experience in data platform design, business intelligence, data visualization, data lake, data warehouse, ETL solutions, and big data platforms.
Knowledge of the IT industry, including Hardware, Software, Network & Infrastructure and Telecommunications.
Proven expertise in Project Management, Planning and Business Analysis.
Exceptional Leadership skills to effectively lead and empower teams.
Demonstrable experience in vendor management and negotiation.
Superb interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
