Job Description:

Parsons is searching for a Technical Lead to join our growing organization. The responsibilities include the providing overall design, development, testing, documenting, and fielding of software and hardware systems. The Technical Lead provides oversight and guidance to a team of engineers through strong interpersonal skills and creates an environment that values insatiable curiosity, and superb work ethic.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for leading a software, hardware, and cloud team in a dynamic high priority mission area. The individual should have expertise in building and architecting software applications for cyber analytics.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leads a cross-functional team in the following disciplines: software engineering, devops, hardware, infrastructure (hardware, network, system engineering), logistics, and test and evaluation (T&E)

Derives technical requirements from customer/mission needs, performs task decomposition, backlog refinement, and communicates technical roadmaps and schedules to customer and program management office (PMO)

Maintains program documentation to include system architecture diagrams, change management, and risk management framework (RMF)

Oversees full system design lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, algorithm development, verification, and maintenance of systems deployed within advanced computing environments, cloud environments, or onto tactical mission platforms.

Assist in ensuring high quality systems are produced through rigorous mechanical and environmental tests

Assist in defining test reports (functional, regression, integration, and performance) and work with the team on scheduling and resourcing Government test events (CT/DT/OT).

Analyzes engineering processes and institute improvements.

Maintains documentation of designs and participates in design review activities as needed.

Communicates across program, internal, and external (PMO and customer) stakeholders

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Experience with C, C++, Java, Python, frontend technologies (Javascript, HTML/CSS) or other programming languages for software engineering and analytics

Expert with Linux scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy, or equivalent)

Experience with code revision management tools such as Git

Experience with Linux container technologies (Docker, Podman, LXC, or equivalent)

Experience with Kubernetes orchestration technology

Experience with Linux and package management systems (RHEL, Centos, or equivalent)

Experience with automated configuration management tools (Ansible, Helm, or equivalent)

Experience with Agile development practices (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework [SAFe])

Excellent organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills

What Required Qualifications You'll Bring:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

Must have 8+ years of relevant professional experience

Proof of US Citizenship is required

Must have active DoD Top Secret security clearance, with SCI/SAR eligibility

Experience and knowledge of the Cyber domain: offensive/defensive cyber, pentesting, computer networking, cyber tool development (access/implant/effects)

Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

12+ years of experience.

Knowledge of SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW), Digital Signals Processing (DSP), Radio Frequency (RF), Space Systems Engineering, and algorithm development.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
