**Description and Requirements**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Installation & Configuration**
+ Deploy and configure enterprise servers, storage arrays, SAN/NAS systems, and backup solutions.
+ Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and system migrations.
+ **Support & Troubleshooting**
+ Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on-site or remotely.
+ Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
+ Provide escalation support in collaboration with Level 2/3 teams and vendors.
+ **Maintenance & Monitoring**
+ Perform health checks hardware/firmware for server and storage environments.
+ Able to manage RAID configurations, disk replacements, and performance tuning.
+ Monitor system alerts and logs to proactively address potential failures.
+ **Customer Engagement**
+ Act as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts.
+ Provide technical consultation, training, and documentation to customers.
+ Ensure SLA compliance and deliver quality service.
+ **Project & Collaboration**
+ Participate in data center migrations, refresh projects, and infrastructure rollouts.
+ Work closely with network, security, and cloud teams for integrated solutions.
+ Assist sales or pre-sales teams with technical expertise during solution design.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
+ **Education & Certification**
+ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Certifications preferred: **Lenovo, Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, VMware, Microsoft, Cisco** .
+ **Technical Skills**
+ Strong knowledge of **servers (x86 systems, rack & blade)** and **storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID, Fibre Channel, iSCSI)** .
+ Hands-on experience with **VMware vSphere, Hyper-V** , and backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.).
+ Familiarity with **Linux, Windows Server** , and command-line administration.
+ Experience with monitoring tools and ITSM ticketing systems.
+ **Soft Skills**
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
+ Good communication and customer-facing skills.
+ Willingness to travel and provide on-site support (sometimes outside business hours).
