Classification of existing manuals and topics within the editing tool to publish the technical information to the Aftermarket Portal / Technical Info. Adjusting media types (e.g. images) in relation to editorial guidesline for further using within the editing tool.

 

What you can look forward to as Technical Editor - product Information Management?:

Research and enter the required feature values according to the current classification structure and editorial guidelines Deriving independent topics from existing instructions in coordination with the editorial team in Passau After publication, check instructions and topics in the Aftermarket Portal/Technical Info Edit images and videos according to editorial guidelines for further use in instructions, manuals and topics Creating media objects in the content management system (editorial tool) Creation and maintenance of the document master in the PLM system

 

Your Profile as Technical Editor – Product Information Management:

Further education as a technician Experience (practice) in service support (Aftermarket experience) Basic knowlege in German and English (written and spoken) Knowledge of local regulations and related directives (OHS, fire safety, CE) Experience in PLM systems (BOM-structure, change management, ...) Experience in XML-based editorial systems, PIM systems and in image editing tools MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); good organizational skills; logical thinking; flexibility; independence Teamwork; responsibility, active communication, results-oriented
