ResponsibilitiesEstablish a comprehensive engineering test to be administered to current and future Material Review Board engineers.Develop an electronic form with clear pass/fail criteria and prerequisites for the exam.Generate learning and training content for exam preparation.Interpret technical resources, including engineering documents and manuals, to create new training and learning materials.Review existing courseware for technical accuracy and instructional relevance as internal company practices and source data evolve.Provide technical direction to the Engineering Department leadership.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) plus 15 years of relevant technical experience.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years of professional experience.Strong writing skills and the ability to work collaboratively to support and lead new growth efforts in instructional product processes.Experience interpreting technical data from multiple sources to create accurate and high-quality instructional products.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Content Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, or other related software suites.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 20 years of professional experience.Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance.Formal Instructor Certification.Experience in courseware development.Work Environment
The work environment involves using advanced software suites such as Microsoft Office, Learning Content Management Systems, and Learning Management Systems. The role requires collaborating with engineering professionals and leadership to ensure the technical accuracy and instructional relevance of training materials.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
