Job Description

Drafter works with Design Engineers and independently creates and/or modifies CAD models and drawings, processes engineering change requests, performs support functions for the engineering department to help
complete design projects, and support projects within the Engineering & Administrative Support
groups.

2D drafting and 3D modelling support workChange Management support for ECR/ECN processingDrawing conversion imperial => metric units, HF => Bosch Rexroth drawing formatAssist in data analysis / cleansing tasks for SAP transition project P5R => PR0FMEA transition support (monitoring / Delta FMEA’s / annual revisits / measure tracking…)MTTFd evaluation support (evaluation for products based on Rexroth established procedureAssist with annual FMEA claims check (design related)Support for cost saving projects (mainly related to tech change management)

Education and Experience:

Minimum two year technical / drafting education (prefer certificate or degree) or equivalentwork experienceTwo years minimum mechanical drafting / modelling work experienceProficient with following computer software programs such as PTC PDMLink / Creo, MS Word,MS ExcelKnowledge of basic design practices and geometric tolerance practicesComfortable with basic mechanical design concepts (how component parts fit / interact witheach other within an assembly)
