Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally accomplished Technical Director - Engineering with 20+ years of progressive experience to lead our engineering organization in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this strategic role, you will shape the technical vision, drive engineering excellence, and cultivate a world-class organization that delivers transformational solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage deep technical mastery combined with proven executive leadership to guide cross-functional teams, influence organizational strategy, and establish new standards of engineering excellence.

Qualifications20+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles, with demonstrated mastery and technical expertise in relevant engineering disciplines12+ years of experience in senior technical leadership or engineering management positions, with proven success scaling organizationsExtensive track record of successfully building, leading, and scaling high-performing engineering teams across multiple business cyclesAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to navigate complex technical scenarios and drive strategic solutionsExpert-level organizational and project management capabilities with experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary initiativesProven expertise in developing and executing technical strategies and long-term engineering roadmaps that align with business objectivesAdvanced proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and financial planning for engineering operationsDeep knowledge of industry best practices, standards, compliance requirements, and emerging regulatory frameworksExtensive experience implementing and optimizing Agile, Lean, and other advanced methodologies across engineering organizationsMastery of engineering tools, software, development platforms, and technology stacks relevant to the organizationExceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executivesProven expertise driving transformational process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives that deliver measurable business impactDistinguished ability to mentor, develop, and retain technical talent, with a track record of advancing high-potential engineers into leadership rolesDemonstrated thought leadership in the engineering community through speaking engagements, publications, or industry involvementPreferred experience in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments with exposure to emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives
