The Technical Director will direct various live and taped broadcasts and productions, including from remote locations. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Physically and verbally direct live broadcastsDesign various graphic elements for broadcastsAdjust to breaking news or changing circumstancesDirect/TD special programming and/or projectsWork as a liaison between news department and production departmentPerform other duties such as studio camera operator, audio operator, CG Operator and Teleprompter operator.

Requirements & Skills:

Four year degree in communication or equivalent experience.Experience directing in a television or production facilityKnowledge of state of the art equipment and techniques used in producing and directing live and taped broadcastsValid driver’s license is required.
