Job Description

AECOM’s Transport Group is looking for a Technical Director with a strong focus on project management. In this key leadership role, you’ll guide the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary transport projects that shape the region’s future.

You’ll work with a high-performing team in a collaborative and innovative environment—delivering solutions that make a real difference to communities across SEQ.

Client face, bringing depth of TMR relationships and proven delivery to the roleLead major transport infrastructure projects, focusing on culture, project performance, and relationships with clients and contractorsCollaborate with an industry-leading team on large-scale transport projects across Queensland and Australia.Foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

Tertiary qualification in engineering with 20+ years of experience, suitable to hold (or obtain) RPEQ status in Queensland.Proven experience as Project Manager and/or Design Manager for major transport infrastructure projects, specifically including work with TMR.Knowledge of the Queensland consulting services market, including Business Cases, D&C, ECI, and ETI delivery.Excellent client relationships, business development experience, and understanding of resourcing planning and forecasting.
