Your New Role: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile software engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a fast-paced environment, functioning as a jack-of-all-trades. The primary focus will involve providing technical solutions using APIs, AI and cloud-based technology. This hands-on role will involve coding, design and architecture.  The role will span from front-end development to backend development.  Similarly, some efforts will be full blown systems development while other activities will be tool and automation creation.   

 

 

Your Role Accountabilities: 

OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Brand Onboarding:

Lead the onboarding process for brands onto our Privacy Automation Solution.

Collaborate closely with brands to ensure a seamless transition onto our platform.

Customize onboarding strategies based on brand-specific requirements.​

Hollywood API Integration: 

Guide and counsel brands through the integration of the Hollywood API.

Provide technical support and troubleshoot integration issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful API integration.

Privacy Data Inventory : 

Data Tracking and Audit Automations to support Asset Scanning

Data Mapping and Data Lineage  

Data Catalog and Data Tagging  

CMDB Refinement  

LLM Usage to glean insight from Unstructured Data  

STRATEGY 

Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand technical needs and dependencies to better align technology solutions 

Assist in developing, testing and deployment of technical solutions that power and enable GPS 

Accurately and clearly articulate technical issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them  

Create comprehensive and meaningful strategy presentations/documentation   

 

ANALYTICS  

Develop comprehensive performance analysis of technical processes and review ways of improvement 

Actively participate in stakeholder meetings with the goal of understanding all major projects and initiatives planned 

Qualifications & Experiences: 

2+ years of prior experience in a related field (software development, computer science, or related industry experience a plus)  

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills 

Excellent written and verbal communication 

Experience developing complex software systems 

Expert user of software development tools (IDEs, version control systems, etc.) to manage all software development tasks  

A passion for accuracy and translating technical requirements into a compelling narrative; able to maintain a balance between the details and the larger picture 

Superb relationship building skills  

Work collaboratively with small teams  

Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently 

Modern Development: 

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software development. 

CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment):

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery

Systems Architecture:

Design and optimize systems architecture for scalability and performance

Node.js, Python, Java:

Proficient in at least two of these programming languages for versatile development

Database Development:

Experience in designing and managing databases for effective data handling

Integration:

Expertise in integrating various systems and components seamlessly

 

Not Required but preferred experience: 

MBA 

2+ years of post-MBA experience in a related field (software development, computer science, or related industry experience a plus)  

Knowledge of and passion for media, entertainment, and technology industries (including key players, growth trends and drivers, new media models, industry structure, etc.) 

Familiarity with streaming and similar products/services  

Experience working in a national or global company 

Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
