You will support their Business Intelligence team to ensure clean, complete, and timely service data that powers decision-making.\n
Why does this role exist?
This role exists to acquire, validate, and maintain mission-critical telecom and technology service data that feeds the client’s BI reporting and optimization programs. By conducting proactive outreach to service providers, remediating data issues, and processing service changes, the Technical Data Analyst ensures data accuracy and continuity across systems. The outcome is reliable, actionable information that supports cost control, contract management, and service lifecycle decisions.

The Impact you’ll makeData Acquisition & Provider Outreach\nContact telecom/technology service providers by phone and email to obtain missing details (e.g., term dates, circuit IDs, addresses, voice numbers, pricing).\nIdentify and reach the right provider contacts using provided lists, invoices, portals, and public resources.\nTrack outreach activity and document dates, contacts, and responses.\nData Validation & Record Remediation\nReview Excel/Smartsheet datasets to identify missing, inconsistent, or duplicate entries.\nValidate against invoices, provider communications, and internal documentation.\nStandardize formats (IDs, numbers, addresses, dates), merge/remove duplicates, and flag issues for BI review.\nData Entry & System Updates\nEnter newly gathered information into designated workbooks and Smartsheet project sheets.\nUpdate service attributes (location, provider, service type, contract status) following defined validation rules.\nDouble-check updates to maintain >99% accuracy.\nService Change & Disconnect Processing\nSubmit requests to move services to month-to-month terms or prevent auto-renewal as instructed.\nIdentify services for disconnection, initiate termination, track status, and confirm billing cessation.\nUpdate records with new statuses and effective dates.\nTask Management, Reporting & Collaboration\nMaintain clear task tracking and logs in Smartsheet for all outreach, updates, and service requests.\nProvide weekly summaries of progress, outstanding items, disconnect activity, and escalations.\nPartner with BI, Customer Success, and Account Services; respond to on-demand data requests (e.g., associated numbers, term dates, circuit data).\n
