**Introduction** In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. **Your role and responsibilities** * OSI PI Consultant is responsible for developing OSI PI Historian solutions in Mining industry. * Configuring, Implementing, and troubleshooting OSISOFT PI Historian systems such as PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Alerts & Notifications, PI Analytics, PI Vision, PI OPC (Server and Interfaces), PI Data Link, AFSDK, PIOLEDB Enterprise, PISMT etc. * Should have troubleshooting and analytical skills and have experience in the Migration of large-scale legacy historians to OSI PI historian **Required technical and professional expertise** * SIS, ASP. Net, C#.Net, VB.Net, SQL Database Candidates should have below: * Experience working on SQL Database and other Historian products. * Experience in the following interface technologies OPC, Custom implementation of API interfaces, Batch File interfaces, PI UFL for web scraping interfaces * OSISoft PI Products, Historian Products, OSISoft PI Tools like PI Vision, PI AF, PI SDK, PI Coresight, PI WebAPI, PI Processbook and PI Integrators * Experience within the OSIsoft PI suite with tools like PI Vision, PI AF, PI SDK, PI Coresight, PI WebAPI, PI Processbook and PI Integrators **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with Microsoft SQL server queries, integration and reporting is a plus Knowledge of System Integration Testing and Unit Testing * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
