Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level **Job Summary** The Technical Consultant role at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital is a member of an A/V team that manages and supports a wide range of multimedia functions including live surgical streaming, virtual meetings, educational conference production, and professional photo/video content creation and editing to enhance communication, training, and outreach **Essential Functions of the Role** + Executes live surgical case streaming for both internal collaboration and external educational purposes, maintaining high-quality transmission standards + Manages live educational conference events, providing full A/V support from setup to execution + Creates and edits original video content for training, education, and promotional use within the hospital system. + Provides liaison support with Information Technology and Audio-Visual vendors and contractors, ensuring the support of managed services in assigned areas. + Provides ongoing technical support to customers, developing procedures as needed. + Researches technological solutions and methods of application delivery to satisfy business requirements.. **Belonging Statement** We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. **Qualifications** + EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification + EXPERIENCE - 5 years of experience **Preferred Skills/Abilities:** + Adept in video editing, graphic design, and Adobe Suite + Working knowledge of WordPress + Knowledge of technical stage lighting and light computer programs + Knowledge of audio/sound equipment, including operation of sound board and microphones during live events and/or meetings + Ability to troubleshoot problems in all technical areas during meetings/events, including video, audio or lighting issues + Strong attentiveness and detail-oriented + Commitment and ability to work in and contribute to overall staff in team-based environment As a health care system committed to improving the health of those we serve, we are asking our employees to model the same behaviours that we promote to our patients.
