Today, we are recruiting for a Technical Change Manager (TCM) to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
Responsible for clarifying, coordinating, planning, communicating of technical changes. Ensure coordination of technical input to changes with all consortium partners and subsystems involved in the project. Manage and lead the technical change management process. Implement the Technical Change Management (TCM) process starting in the project. Produce initial Impact and detailed assessment documentation in coordination within the team and the subsystems. Support the CCB where technical input is required Evaluate the complexity and impact of proposed changes. Facilitate regular Change management coordination meetings Prepare justifications, implementation plans, and verification strategies for each change. The TCM process is integrated with configuration management and relies on structured documentation and traceability tools.What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in railway systems or processes are preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in change management. Minimum of 5 years of experience in in railway transportation systems and the execution of rail projects is highly desirable. Technical knowledge of railway, such as Signaling, Railway Communication, Electrification, Power Supply, Rolling Stock, SCADA, Track Work, etc. is preferred Prior experience as a team member in at least one large project execution. Knowledge of relevant IT systems and tools such as MS Office and experience with ACONEX is preferred. Knowledge and understanding of other processes of such as Configuration, Requirement, Interface, Baseline etc. Ability to read and understand contractual technical requirements. Knowledge of project management principles for project realization and execution. Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must. Arabic is a plus. Independent and structured approach to work with excellent communication skills. High level of customer and quality orientation.What else do I need to know?
