**Position:** **Technical Application Specialist** **Division:** **Core Diagnostics** **Location:** **Lahore** **Job Summary:** The Technical Application Specialist is responsible for delivery of customer operator training and coaching in Abbott training facilities and onsite and providing on­ site assay implementation, application support, and application troubleshooting on Abbott Systems. **Major Responsibilities:** + Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements + Deliver customer operator training in Abbott facilities or on-site + Perform new instrument and assay implementations through Test of Record + Perform on-site assay investigation, troubleshooting and operator training and coaching + Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators achievement and resolution rates + Travel extensively within the service area **Education/Knowledge & Experience:** + Bachelor's degree; preferably BE/ME in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical + Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in relevant field + Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references + Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff + Technical expert for product line responsibility + Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues + Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software + Computer expertise including word processing, spread sheet and database management applications + Strong communications skills both verbal and written An Equal Opportunity Employer Abbot welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
