Job Duties: Deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Technical Analyst-related occupation.
Position requires:
Design, installation, and configuration of Oracle Database environments; Implementation and administration of high-availability solutions for Oracle Database using Data Guard; Planning and execution of switchover/failover procedures as part of disaster recovery; Implementation of backup-recovery strategies using native tools and features RMAN, Flashback, and impdb/expdp; Oracle Database performance tuning by using OEM, AWR, ADDM, Advisors.
