About this Role

The Technical Administrative Assistant Intern at Crux Subsurface will provide administrative support to the Engineering department, with a primary focus on assisting the Quality Manager with quality documentation and project records. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how quality management, project controls, and construction administration work in a fast-paced heavy construction environment. This position will work alongside engineers, project managers, and quality personnel and gain real exposure to how large-scale foundation construction projects are managed from the office side.

 

Hourly: $19.00 DOE

Sick Leave accrual in accordance with company policies.

What You'll Do Provide administrative support to the Engineering department across multiple projectsAssist the Quality Manager with reviewing, organizing, and maintaining quality management documents, inspection records, and project filesAssist with the preparation and tracking of submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentationPerform data entry and maintain project logs and tracking spreadsheetsHelp compile and format quality management plans and project-specific documentationSupport document control processes to ensure project records are accurate and currentAssist with other engineering and project administration tasks as assigned What You'll Bring Preference given to individuals currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsInterest in construction, engineering, or project managementSelf-starter who can work independently and ask the right questions Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is - depending on experience and qualifications.
