Job Title: Tech SupportJob Description
Provide comprehensive phone and on-site technical support to all computer users at the Dulles branch office. Act as the first line of technical support for all Help Desk calls and manage tracking and updates of Computer Service and User Change Requests. Support the company’s Intranet site and assist in overseeing custom database projects. Ensure efficient ordering of supplies and equipment, perform user account management, and oversee software and hardware installations. Maintain Active Directory and troubleshoot all information systems within the organization, ensuring rigorous documentation for IT compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Provide phone and on-site technical support to computer users at the Dulles branch.
+ Act as the first line of support for all Help Desk calls.
+ Track and update Computer Service and User Change Requests in the custom tracking system.
+ Support and maintain the company Intranet site.
+ Assist in managing custom database projects.
+ Order and install equipment as directed to meet company needs.
+ Perform user account creations and terminations.
+ Oversee software and application installations and upgrades.
+ Upgrade hardware, including disk drives and printers, as requested.
+ Maintain Active Directory.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve information systems issues.
+ Provide rigorous documentation for IT compliance.
Essential Skills
+ Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft M365, including Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure AD.
+ Experience with Active Directory, Adobe Creative Cloud Products, and Bluebeam Revu eXtreme.
+ Proficiency in using Help Desk Ticketing Software (e.g., Cherwell, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
+ Familiarity with EDR Solutions (e.g., Cortex XDR, Symantec, Palo Alto).
+ Experience with Trimble Accubid Estimating & Change Order Software and Smartsheet Reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3+ years of customer service experience in a technology-assisted environment preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and services.
+ Understanding of Windows 11 Operating Systems and network devices.
+ Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
+ Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
+ Ability to explain complex IT concepts simply.
+ Experience managing high-priority projects and documenting processes.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $31.25/hr.
