Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Application Architects to finalize architecture solutions for a productRepresent delivery team in Architecture Review meeting and get relevant approvalsFollow all the standards from Architecture teamResponsible for software design, development and testingLead and be Responsible for tech delivery from a teamResponsible for tech stories in release/sprints. Work closely with delivery lead and PO to prioritize tech stories.Accountable for Build and deployment, Code reviews, Unit testing in the teamMonitor external software development partners and ensure they follow correct architecture and technology guideline laid out by ContinentalStaying abreast of developments in areas of web/mobile app development technologies.Conduct small training for delivery team on tech topicsResponsible for leading cybersecurity and data protection topicsContinuous improvement processSupport in hiringCollaborate with internal teams to fix and improve the products

Qualifications

Requirements:

Technical SkillsStrong experience in Node.js as the backend technology.  Experience in Java and Python is a plusStrong experience in building web front end using angular with relevant  framework as the front-end technologyStrong experience in working with Microservice ArchitectureStrong experience in working with AWS cloud platformWorking with stakeholder on proposals and lead the conversationExperience of CI/CD tools and methodologies is a plusExperience in using various relevant tools for Unit Testing, Code quality, Build and Deployment, Repository etc Other skillsExperience of agile software development methodologiesExperience working in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins etcCollaborative, team player attitude and convinced that networking and knowledge sharing are key drivers for successup to date on the latest trends in the industry concerning classical data science, data mining, advanced analytics, etc.Willingness to sometimes travel nationally and internationally to various Continental R&D centers and external development partner locationsWillingness to learn new things

Experience

Around 8-10 years of experience overall6+ years in web/service development using tools similar to Angular, Node, NoSQL, TypScript, etc4+ years in AWS services3+ years in CICd topics2+ years in using tools like Sonarqube, Datadog, Appdynamics, Firebase, Fastlane etc 1+ years in supporting solution proposals, offers etc2+ years in leading small teams5+ years in Agile delivery AWS certification is plus

 

Education

BE in engineering with focus on computer science / software engineeringMCA with professional experienceOther relevant education streams with strong tech experiences can be considered
