The Disability Determination Services (DDS) Division at the IDOL has an exciting opportunity for a full-time position for a Technical Records Specialist 1 at the Boise DDS office. This position will work within a small team of professionals and provides technical support to the Idaho DDS for programs and processes along with conveying information and determining compliance with accepted policies. Incumbents are responsible for evidence verification, records management, processing claims, updating Electronic Records Express (ERE) accounts for providers, front desk operations/reception processes, assisting with mailroom duties, other duties as assigned. Incumbents work with sensitive or restricted data and are required to protect the confidentiality of that information.

Your appointment is contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment screening, which will begin upon your acceptance of this tentative offer of employment and your completion of the required investigation questionnaires. Example of Duties:
+ Manage the fiscal records verification process for accuracy.
+ Monitor the fiscal process, including, but not limited to, medical/psychological consultant contractors invoicing, operating bills, inventory tracking, office supply purchasing and other DDS division's operating expenses.
+ Handle, scan and file various types of paperwork/claims.
+ Provide customer service by answering phones, route incoming calls, call claimants/consultative exam (CE) providers to ensure/CE appointment attendance, and assist DDS division visitors, vendors and contractors.
+ Responsible for mailroom operations to ensure proper handling of all incoming/outgoing mail.
+ Assist with the coordination of the physical facility.
+ Assist with all safety and security processes within the DDS division, including, but not limited to, monitoring routine fire and shelter in place drills, and duress alarm testing. Minimum Qualifications:

+ Experience monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors
+ Experience researching a variety of sources to resolve problems
+ Experience interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments
+ Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system
