Your ‘day to day
Cultivate a strong engineering culture within the backend chapter, focusing on code quality, scalability, and maintainability.Lead technical discussions within the team, becoming the go-to person for guidance and troubleshooting.Define, implement, and track key business and engineering metrics related to performance, availability, and quality; continuously challenge the team to improve.Foster a culture of collaboration and active participation in engineering and design discussions. Establish and maintain solid software delivery processes, including standards for code quality and reviews.Assist with grooming and prioritization of the technical backlog, especially around technical debt.Contribute to and lead organization-wide technical initiatives and digital transformations.Mentor and coach backend software engineers to help them grow.Support hiring initiatives to build a top-tier engineering team
Who we're looking for
5+ years of experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. Bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in an IT-related field.Proven ability to build, launch, and scale digital products successfully. In-depth expertise in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform, including modules such as:• Email Studio
• Journey Builder
• Automation Studio
• Mobile Studio
• Interaction Studio Strong skills in AMPscript and SSJS, used for implementing complex logic within SFMC.Proficiency in SQL, particularly related to data extensions and data views.Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex automation workflows (e.g., scheduled activities, triggered sends) within SFMC Automation Studio.Ability to deliver results in global, matrixed organizations involving both internal and external stakeholders.Knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflow
