Our client, a global leader in medical technology, is seeking a Product Development Technician to join their team. As a Product Development Technician, you will be part of the R&D / Product Development Department, supporting engineering, laboratory operations, and cross‑functional project teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to follow written procedures accurately, which will align successfully within the organisation. **Job Title:** Product Development Technician **Location:** Onsite – Brea, CA **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM **Pay Range:** $29–$36 per hour What’s the Job? Gather, maintain, format, and manipulate technical data such as lab results, material test results, and engineering design changes. Produce engineering documents, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics). Provide technical support to engineers and complete assigned technical tasks. Assist with general lab functions including calibration, equipment qualification, safety procedures, and routine maintenance. Execute designed test protocols, conduct testing, document results, and support prototype builds and test setups. What’s Needed? High school diploma and 4–6 years of laboratory or regulated‑environment technician experience OR Bachelor of Science in a technical field with 1–2 years relevant lab/R&D experience. Ability to understand and perform written test procedures accurately. Strong teamwork and communication skills when working with lab and cross‑functional teams. Proficiency with computers and documentation tools; ability to complete detailed technical reports. Ability to train junior technicians and develop solutions to routine technical problems.
