Here, you will make an impact by: + Providing Human Resources Business Partner support select teams within the Transportation & Electronics Business Group. + Translating business strategy into holistic people plans, accountable to facilitate end-to-end talent management as a global HR partner. + Providing expert strategic counsel and advisory support to Business or Corporate Leadership Team(s) by establishing trusted partnerships with stakeholders to develop a deeper understanding of client needs. + Evolving and activating people and talent strategies that align with and influence the business strategy to enable sustainable business success. + Optimizing organizational effectiveness, enhance collaboration, and drive innovation. Plans align to and influence business strategy to enable business success through workforce and skills planning, talent portfolio and pipeline management, and advancements of workforce diversity. + Leading and facilitating comprehensive talent review cycle, ensuring a robust talent pipeline and holistic approach to how the business leaders enable talent across the organization + Creating a positive and supportive work environment that fosters employee growth, productivity, and well-being + Partnering with other HR experts to advance priorities. + Identifying anticipated HR impacts across the respective Operating Committee teams where you engage. + Engaging with the HR Solutions teams and other parts of HR for project management and/or execution of prioritized HR action. + Other engagements and responsibilities where possible. **Your Skills and Expertise**   To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) + Ten (10) years of Human Resources (HR) experience in a private, public, government or miliary environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + Global HR experience across multiple business models and functions + Experience providing counsel, influence and challenging senior leaders (SVP level) + Demonstrated experience in adeptly navigating complex, matrixed corporate environments with a keen sense of political acumen, coupled with a deep understanding of 3M's organizational structure, enabling effective influence and strategic navigation through the company's multifaceted layers to drive initiatives for impact. + Strong business acumen to quickly understand client needs and build organizational capabilities to support + Ability to prioritize competing demands + People & Communities Champion, people developer, coach, and change ambassador + Exceptional communication skills; adaptive leadership style + MBA preferred **Work location:** + **Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN** **at least** **4** **days per week)** **Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international** **Relocation Assistance: May be authorized** **Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).** **Supporting Your Well-being** 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
