Teamcenter Test Consultant Requisition ID: 44929 Job Location(s): Oragadam, IN Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Group Functions CFO Job Function: Information Technology Work Location Type: On-site **Job Description** **Danfoss is looking for** a highly skilled **PLM Teamcenter Testing Engineer** to join the “Teamcenter Build & Test” team within Danfoss Group IT (DGIT). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our PLM software through the design and execution of robust testing procedures. You will become part of a high-performing global team of dedicated IT consultants who are leaders in Teamcenter PLM and play a key role in Danfoss’ digital transformation journey. **Job Responsibilities** As a **Teamcenter Test Consultant** , your key responsibilities will include: 1. **Designing and executing test cases** and test plans for PLM software validation. 2. **Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects** to ensure timely resolution by development teams. 3. **Collaborating with cross-functional teams** to ensure software meets functional and business requirements. 4. **Developing and refining testing strategies** , methodologies, and best practices. 5. **Providing technical support** and guidance to stakeholders during testing phases. 6. **Participating in regression, integration, and system testing** activities. 7. **Maintaining test documentation** and ensuring traceability of requirements. 8. **Contributing to automation efforts** where applicable to improve test efficiency. 9. **Staying updated on emerging trends** and tools in PLM and software testing. 10. **Ensuring compliance** with internal quality standards and industry best practices. **Background & Skills** The ideal candidate should bring the following qualifications and competencies: 1. **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. **3+ years of experience** in PLM software testing, preferably with Teamcenter. 3. **Hands-on experience** with Siemens Teamcenter and Active Workspace (AWC). 4. **Good to have knowledge** of CAD integration tools like NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, and Creo. 5. **Strong analytical and problem-solving** capabilities. 6. **Familiarity with software testing methodologies** and tools (manual and/or automated). 7. **Excellent communication skills** for effective collaboration and reporting. 8. **Team-oriented mindset** with the ability to work in a global environment. 9. **Self-motivated and proactive** with a strong sense of ownership. 10. **Adaptability to new tools and technologies** in the PLM testing domain. **Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow** At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
