Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Teamcenter Administrator to join our engineering R&D organization, focusing on the PLMS organization and structure. This role will encompass user support, test case development, implementation of new modules, user license management, and the creation and refinement of training materials, all centered around Teamcenter PLMS.
ResponsibilitiesProvide user support and develop test cases for Teamcenter PLMS.Implement new modules and manage user licenses.Create and refine training materials for users and system administrators.Maintain proficiency in company IT hardware and supporting software systems.Coordinate with hardware OEMs, software vendors, third-party IT support staff, and company IT management to ensure PLM systems remain operational with minimal downtime.Oversee third-party installations and support.Develop and enhance processes and procedures for Teamcenter as an integrated PLM tool, focusing on CAD file management and document management.Collaborate with team partners and subcontractors to facilitate secure file and document exchange.Maintain and monitor Teamcenter Development, Integration, Quality Assurance, and Production environments.Stay updated on new modules, capabilities, and best practices for Teamcenter software.Manage licenses and annual maintenance for all users and manage user profiles.Assist in training implementation and maintain training manuals.Attend Configuration Control Board meetings.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Five to ten years of experience in managing computer or IT systems.In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter PLM administration.Experience in configuration management, change control, and document management using PLM.Proficiency in computer software development, ideally in C/C++, JAVA, batch scripting, Python, Perl, and PowerShell.Experience in customizing Teamcenter instances for engineering workspaces.Ability to write basic scripts in batch files for Teamcenter.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with 3D CAD modeling and integration of models from various CAD software vendors.Knowledge of CAD (NX or other 3D), IT infrastructure, and product data management tools.Exposure to Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).General IT server-based knowledge, with ITK and Visual Studio as a plus.Work Environment
This position operates within an office environment, requiring collaboration with team members and partners. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, servers, and remote backups is beneficial.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
