Material Receiving and Inspection:
Receive incoming materials and supplies, verifying quantities against purchase orders and inspecting for quality and damage.
Document all receipts and discrepancies, coordinating with the procurement team to resolve any issues.
Inventory Storage and Organization:
Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring that items are organized and easily accessible.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness, following proper storage procedures to prevent damage and contamination.
Material Issuance and Tracking:
Issue materials and supplies to production departments as requested, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.
Track inventory movements and update inventory records in real-time.
Inventory Accuracy and Control:
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
Report any discrepancies to the Head Stores and assist in investigating and resolving them.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols in the handling and storage of materials, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure that hazardous materials are stored and handled in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicate effectively with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure that materials are available when needed.
Provide timely updates to the Head Stores on inventory levels, shortages, and any issues encountered.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments.
Assist in the preparation of inventory reports and audits as required.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and warehouse efficiency.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in inventory management.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all materials issued meet quality standards and are fit for use in production.
Report any quality issues to the Head Stores for further action.

Uphold the organization’s commitment to ethical behaviour by ensuring that all inventory management activities are conducted with integrity and transparency.
Education Qualification:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Work Experience:
2+ years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
