Job Description:

M&M Team Member - Print Shop at M&Ms Retail (MMS.com)

Location: Hackettstown, NJ

Shift Requirements:

Monday to Friday with rotating shifts between days and afternoons

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Note: Shift and hours may vary based on volume and demand throughout the year

Note: Must be willing to work various rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and seasonal peak time

Job Purpose:

The M&M Team Member - Print Shop is responsible for various tasks including printing, bagging, shipping, and co-packing. This role is part of a manufacturing team focused on efficiently personalizing M&M's products. It is important to note that this is not a graphic design position.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Strong interest in manufacturing and eager to learn equipment operation and basic maintenance

Competency and comfort with computer and PC software (MS Office and email)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.)

Frequent handling, gripping, bending, and stooping

Ability to work at elevated heights using ladders or platforms, climb stairs, and lean over equipment

Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours per shift

Must be willing to work various rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and season timeframe

This is a peanut facility

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing facility experience

SAP experience

Understands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions, etc.

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

Performs all assigned activities & job tasks within a manufacturing line or area

Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner 

Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level

Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments and malfunction troubleshooting.

They operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area.

Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM)

Autonomous Maintenance- learns how to maintain and clean equipment which includes disassembly and reassembly.

Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, waste tracking etc. 

High degree of ownership for product quality:  Performs all standard QC & other quality related duties

Maintain accurate records of quality checks (QC, production numbers or waste performance)

Keeps detailed log books:  Performs all shift support documentation in a quality matter

Total Rewards & Compensation:

Starting pay at $23.56/HR + based on experience

Shift Premium: $1.50/HR

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 22.97 - USD 31.59
