TOGETHER WE WIN® **THE OPPORTUNITY** The Team Member Engagement lead plays a significant role in shaping Banc of California’s workplace culture by developing and supporting the implementation of various programs, initiatives and events to ensure an engaging workplace where every team member feels valued and motivated to contribute to the success of the bank. The position will lead team member engagement activities and support efforts in HR project coordination, communication and brand awareness. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates. **HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE** + Report to the VP, HR Transformation and strategic initiatives on engagement and project management efforts, and work closely with the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer on HR Communication. + Work directly with human resources in the design and implementation of employee engagement programs that align with the bank’s strategic goals and culture, including recognition initiatives, service recognition, team building activities, and the annual recognition/award program. + Create and manage internal communication campaigns to highlight engagement initiatives, celebrate achievements and share success stories across the bank, working in partnership with Corporate Communications. + Ensure team member communication is consistent, and act as brand ambassador. + Develops and administers team member surveys to measure engagement levels, gather feedback on workplace satisfaction, engagement drivers and areas for improvement. + May facilitate focus groups to create personalized engagement plans and leverage unique opportunities to boost morale and productivity. + Organize team member events (company-wide) to foster a sense of community and belonging among team members. + Lead HR project management portfolio, ensuring initiatives are on track and key stakeholders are accountable. + Provide regular updates on HR Project Management and program initiatives to the HR leadership team by building project management plans and tracking progress. + Build and maintain strong partnerships with and may lead team meetings for the IDEA Council, Site Leader Council and HR Leadership Team to ensure collaboration and coordination of engagement activities. + Maintain and manage event reporting, progress and results. + Manage any special projects assigned by the VP, HR Transformation & Strategic Initiatives leader and/or EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer. + Prioritize workload and follow up with pending information in a timely manner. + Work independently and take the initiative to complete assigned duties on schedule. + Treat people with respect; keep commitments; inspire the trust of others; work ethically and with integrity; uphold organizational values; accept responsibility for own actions. + Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to EEO policy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educates others on the value of diversity; promotes working environment free of harassment of any type; builds a diverse workforce and supports affirmative action. + Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports the company’s goals and values. + Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions.
