As part of the strategy to protect commercially sensitive, proprietary data, the personal data of the employees, clients and prospective clients, our RBA (Risk & Business Assurance) Security Team is seeking a manager for our global Security Technology team to keep ASML’s data secure.
Role and responsibilitiesThe Manager Security Technology (MST) leads the team within RBA Security that is responsible for technically enabling ASML’s security function through innovation and automation. In this role, you will design and implement efficient and effective platforms and tooling as per domain architecture and demand of the Security operational teams, including Monitoring and Detection logic for SIEM and SOAR. In this position, you will:
Lead and drive innovative and leading edge security technology initiatives (i.e. AI) to increase ASML’s resilience to existing and new internal and/or external security threats (e.g., Post Quantum Cryptography).
Enable definition, implementation and improving, maintenance and monitoring of the (existing) Security tooling landscape that supports ASML Enterprise Security domain architecture and capability framework.
Enable a seamless and fit-for-purpose Security Service delivery through development, implementation and monitoring of Security Service strategies that meet the customer’s needs for the full Security Service portfolio.
Enable ASML’s security function in implementing the Security Value Driver Tree through data model definition, development and solution implementation and monitoring.
Develop and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
The Manager Security Technology leads a team of 5 people, reports to the Manager Security Operations and is part of the Security Operations Core Leadership.

The ideal candidate will have:
Master degree in IT / Security Management or equivalent.
10+ years experience with a focus on information systems security.
5+ years experience in leading a team of managers.
5+ years experience managing services and delivery.
Sound understanding of security technologies, techniques and best practices.
Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Experience and knowledgeable in regulatory issues relating to security.
SkillsTo be successful in this position, you will have excellent leadership, influencing and interpersonal skills. You are highly-motivated, with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset.
Able to lead, develop, motivate and mentor a team of security professionals.
