**Job Title:** Team Manager, Product Management **Description** : In this role you will lead the country's most successful maths team of high-performing product professionals, responsible for the most used maths qualifications and teaching and learning resources in the UK that are also used extensively around the world. Maths provision and manage a high-performing team of subject specialists. The role aligns to industry-level titles such as **Head of Maths / Team Manager – Maths.** This is a pivotal leadership role, combining strategic oversight of Maths qualifications and teaching and learning products with day-to-day line management, coaching and development of staff. You will play a central role in shaping the direction of Maths at Pearson and in UK schools and colleges. Job Summary: Lead the vision, strategy, and continuous improvement of Maths provision for UK schools and colleges. Drive the development of best-in-class Maths products that engage learners and meet regulatory requirements. Use data-driven insights to elevate product quality, learner outcomes, and overall experience, making a real impact on education across the UK. Key Responsibilities: + Lead the vision and strategic direction for Maths products, ensuring alignment with educational frameworks and regulatory standards. + Drive continuous improvement by analysing performance data and learner feedback to inform product enhancements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, high-quality Maths solutions for schools and colleges. + Guide and develop a team of product managers and specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. + Ensure Maths products remain competitive and relevant by monitoring industry trends and stakeholder needs. Required Skills and Competencies: + Strong strategic thinking and commercial outlook. + Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration. + Proven ability to drive product development and continuous improvement, ideally in the schools and colleges sector. + Deep knowledge of the qualifications and publishing sectors for schools.
