What this job involves:As Team Manager for Analytics Services, you'll lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team that powers data-driven decision-making across JLL's Consulting and Sustainability Analytics practices. This leadership role combines strategic oversight with people development, as you coach and supervise analysts who deliver critical data analysis, compliance reporting, and consulting support that helps clients optimize their real estate performance. Reporting to JLL Business Services Costa Rica Leadership with a dotted line to the Analytics Services AMER Regional Lead, you'll serve as both a trusted client advisor and an inspiring team leader. Your responsibilities span engagement management, strategic client relationship building, team performance optimization, and continuous process improvement. This role demands collaborative partnership across Client Account, Technology, and Operations teams to manage stakeholder expectations, support business development, and ensure successful execution of initiatives that range from multiple complex projects to single large-scale strategic engagements.
What your day-to-day will look like:Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of analysts across Consulting and Sustainability Analytics functions through coaching, training, and performance management focused on professional growth
Provide day-to-day engagement management ensuring successful project execution, client satisfaction, and strategic oversight with senior relationship accountability
Manage financial performance of multiple complex projects or large-scale initiatives, monitoring profitability and implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies
Build and maintain strategic client relationships, serving as trusted advisor who delivers consulting and technical guidance on sustainability and compliance reporting requirements
Collaborate with regional leadership to onboard new clients, support proposal development, and create compelling value propositions that drive business development
Oversee task allocation, workflow management, and resourcing optimization across the team to balance capacity and ensure high-quality service delivery
Drive implementation of standardized processes, technology adoption, and governance activities that meet key performance outcomes and operational excellence standards
Sponsor professional development initiatives through local and virtual programs, transferring knowledge across Analytics teams to inspire continuous learning
Partner cross-functionally with Client Account, Technology, and Operations teams to manage stakeholder expectations and enable successful collaboration on strategic initiatives
Required qualifications:5-10 years of professional experience with demonstrable background in team management and people leadership including proven ability to coach and develop talent
Strong project management expertise with financial accountability for project delivery, profitability monitoring, and resource optimization
Experience in sustainability reporting, compliance analytics, or consulting analytics with understanding of client advisory requirements
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to manipulate and analyze complex datasets
Excellent client-facing and communication skills with track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships
Strong lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities with capacity to navigate ambiguous challenges
Proven ability to multi-task effectively, managing competing priorities and deadlines across multiple concurrent projects
Strategic mindset balanced with operational execution capabilities and attention to detail
Preferred qualifications:Background in real estate, building performance, or corporate real estate portfolio management
Technical experience with environmental reporting software platforms and large-scale data management systems
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across different business functions or service lines
Track record supporting North American client engagements with understanding of regional market dynamics
Demonstrated success balancing strategic vision and directives with hands-on operational execution
Business Intelligence platform knowledge or experience with analytics visualization and reporting tools
