Spherion is hiring for a Team Leader in Burgettstown. The Team Leader position is a 2nd shift temp-to-hire opportunity paying $20.50-$22.50 per hour. This position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule with 4 ten hour shifts. Overtime is always available on Friday. The Team Leader position involves leading a team to ensure smooth production, providing training, and enforcing safety rules. Training for this position is on first shift which is 5a-3:30p.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that production employees are working efficientlyIdentifying and correcting unsafe behaviorsTraining and supporting employeesCompleting daily reviews of production plans and schedulesProviding feedback on employee performanceDriving and enforcing new initiatives to ensure a safe and clean work settingAssisting with annual inventory countsEnsuring pick lists are input in a timely mannerEnsuring that machinery is running and cleaned properly

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Skills:

Proven ability to lead a team in a fast paced environmentHigh attention to detailPrioritization skills
