Crouse’s Surgical Center/Operating Room (OR) team is hiring a Team Leader (RN) to provide care for patients of all ages receiving inpatient or outpatient surgeries and endoscopic procedures with anesthesia. Will also coordinate staff scheduling, educational/development activities, workflow coordination and delegations
Pay Range: $33.00 - $50.00/hour.
up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs!

Full time, 8 hour shifts - 7:00am-3:30pm; 2:00pm-10:30pm with rotation of weekends, holidays and on-callTeam Leader (RN) Position Responsibilities:
Acts as a lead point-of-contact and knowledge expert to all employees within department or assigned area. Effectively coordinates staff scheduling, workflow, and delegation of daily tasks to ensure work is completed on a timely and accurate basis. Notifies department leadership when there are issues with daily workflow and performance. Identifies and resolves issues affecting the successful completion of delegated tasks and duties. Provides on-going training to existing team members as required. Acts as a resource during the on-boarding and training of new employees Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance Efficiently plans, directs, and supervises nursing care provided to perioperative patients in the assigned service line area(s) of responsibility. Proficiently maintains special order inventory/equipment for assigned service line area(s) of responsibility and proactively serves as a resource to the Revenue Manager in annual budget planning process. Professionally provides patient/family teaching related to the ongoing medical/nursing regimen and in preparation for discharge. Effectively maintains clinical competency and skill by supporting and assisting with patient care assignments while evaluating the care that is being provided.
Team Leader (RN) Position Requirements:
Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Graduate from an accredited nursing degree program required. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred. For RNs licensed in or after 2017, completion of a Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree will be required within 8 years of the date the license was obtained. Two (2) years of operating room or Surgical Nursing experience Certification in a specialty area preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Benefits Overview:
