Basic Job Function:
Responsible for planning, operating, and maintaining all environmental protection systems of the resort, including waste management, wastewater treatment, and energy-saving programsEnsure all operations minimise environmental impact and align with local, national, and international sustainability standardsCollaborate with departments to integrate eco-friendly practices into daily operationsTasks/Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement environmental monitoring and improvement programs in areas such as energy, water, and waste management
• Periodically inspect, evaluate and analyse environmental systems with authorities to ensure compliance with government regulations and Hyatt brand standards
• Support the maintenance team in identifying eco-friendly materials, technologies, and operational methods
•Report to work at the scheduled time, well groomed and in the correct uniform
•Recruit and train Engineers on environmental awareness and best practices in accordance with the resort's guidelines
•Take full responsibility for the performance of departmental activities within the shift, immediately bring to your manager's attention any problem arises
•Respond promptly to environmental incidents, investigate the root cause, and implement corrective measures
•Maintain accurate records of environmental performance, permits, and sustainability reports
•Assist in preparing documentation and data required for certifications such as ISO 14001, LEED, or Green Globe
•In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager
