**Description:** Basic Job Function: + Responsible for planning, operating, and maintaining all environmental protection systems of the resort, including waste management, wastewater treatment, and energy-saving programs + Ensure all operations minimise environmental impact and align with local, national, and international sustainability standards + Collaborate with departments to integrate eco-friendly practices into daily operations Tasks/Responsibilities: • Develop and implement environmental monitoring and improvement programs in areas such as energy, water, and waste management • Periodically inspect, evaluate and analyse environmental systems with authorities to ensure compliance with government regulations and Hyatt brand standards • Support the maintenance team in identifying eco-friendly materials, technologies, and operational methods • Report to work at the scheduled time, well groomed and in the correct uniform • Recruit and train Engineers on environmental awareness and best practices in accordance with the resort's guidelines • Take full responsibility for the performance of departmental activities within the shift, immediately bring to your manager's attention any problem arises • Respond promptly to environmental incidents, investigate the root cause, and implement corrective measures • Maintain accurate records of environmental performance, permits, and sustainability reports • Assist in preparing documentation and data required for certifications such as ISO 14001, LEED, or Green Globe • In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager **Qualifications:** Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline • Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental management, relevant in the hospitality industry • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and oral, in Microsoft Office and environmental monitoring software • Proven Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability programs, and reporting standards • Commitment to Hyatt’s sustainability philosophy and proactive attitude in promoting eco-friendly practices **Primary Location:** VN-Kien Giang-Phu Quoc **Organization:** Park Hyatt Phu Quoc **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Engineering/Facility Maintenance **Req ID:** PHU000502 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
