Job Description & Summary

PwC is an authorized project sponsor for the so-called federal subsidy program "Graue Flecken" aimed at supporting the expansion of fiber optics in regions that would not be economically feasible without assistance. The client is the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport. We are a team of over 100 colleagues responsible for the proper and guideline-compliant use of the funding. In this role, we are among other things responsible for reviewing financial plans, invoices, and proofs of use. 

We are looking for:  

Team Leader AP/AR| Managed Services Operations  

Your future role:  

Recording of business transactions in accounts payable and accounts receivable  

Monitoring compliance with financial guidelines, signaling deviations, and initiating necessary measures for financial adjustment, 

Development, planning, preparation of budgets and supplementary budgets, 

Ensuring the compliant determination of individual costs in the context of document audits, 

Enforcement and collection of refundable amounts and interest, including dunning, 

Implementation and monitoring of budget plans/budget funds (Application for fund releases, grants, extraordinary/increased revenues/expenditures, ordering of carryovers). 

Apply if you have:  

More than 2 years of experience managing a team in accounting operations,  

Higher education in finance, economics, or a related field.

Proven accounting experience in AP/AR processes,  

Knowledge and experience using performance management tools and motivation techniques,  

Fluency in English and German (at least B2, written and spoken)  

Excellent communication skills, including client communication,  

Strong planning, time management and organizational skills.  

Willingness for business travels
