Team Leader: Credit Quality Assurance (Business Credit)
Purpose Statement

Lead the effective implementation of the Quality Assurance plan within the Capitec Intuitive and Acquisition Credit assessment frameworks, and standards across  a business unit in Capitec. 

Experience

Min/Ideal:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, policy development, or assurance functions within the banking or financial services industry. Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  Qualifications (Minimum) Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Risk Management Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) Knowledge

Min/Ideal:

Deep understanding of credit risk management frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and combined assurance models. Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles. Understanding of internal audit processes, risk control frameworks (and assurance standards. Awareness of banking regulations and financial services industry standards.
