Team Leader, Broker Accreditations – Personal Banking
Join our Broker Accreditation team, part of the Personal Banking COO function, an area that is focused on providing a great experience to Macquarie’s Broker distribution partners. Our team is an integral part of Macquarie’s Personal Banking division and works alongside the Broker Sales team to undertake due diligence activities for the onboarding of new brokers, providing them access to distribute Macquarie’s Home and Commercial Lending products At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. As a Team Leader, you will coach, mentor and lead your team to ensure they meet the agreed standards and deliver excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. brokers and distribution partners). You will also be responsible for fostering a positive, collaborative team culture encouraging continuous improvement and professional development. You will oversee the end-to-end broker accreditation process which includes managing timely onboarding, in-life management and offboarding of all brokers, all whilst ensuring brokers meet the requirements for a Macquarie accreditation and is within Macquarie’s risk appetite. Where complex accreditation issues arise, you will act as the escalation point and provide resolution in an efficient manner. In addition, you’ll proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiencies, utilising your experience in driving change to execute on these opportunities.

Proven experience in broker operations, accreditations, or a similar role within the financial services or mortgage industryLeadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate a team to meet and exceed goalsAbility to identify opportunities for process improvement, and experience to drive changeExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse information and make informed decisions to drive resultsAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and our mortgage broker networkDemonstrable experience in managing an operations function, whilst being able to identify and mitigate risks associated with the function.
