This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated! + Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents + Filling prescriptions and dispensing medications as directed by a veterinarian​ + Receive client calls regarding refill requests. Review patient records for remaining refills, necessary exam or bloodwork needed, prepare medication labels and fill prescriptions. + Perform stocking procedures throughout the hospital + Quarterly inventory; date entry + Provide training for new team members and assist with training protocols + Assist clients with any questions they have regarding prescriptions. + Fax prescriptions to outside pharmacies. + General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of pharmacy area + Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services + Previous customer service or front desk experience in hospitality or retail is an asset! + No experience with animals, no problem, so long as you love animals! **What VCA Canada Offers** Join our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
