The role
Team Lead for Service Line
contract type: full time | location: Almaty, Kazakhstan
working model: onsite
We’re looking for a Local Service Delivery Lead to manage and grow our delivery team in Almaty. This is a hands-on leadership role – you’ll split your time between working directly with customers (about 50%) and guiding your team to deliver high-quality services.
You’ll take ownership of delivery performance, coach team members, solve escalations, and make sure both customers and employees have a great experience.
What You’ll Do:
Lead day-to-day operations of the local delivery team.
Deliver services directly to customers (Windows Server, Azure, O365, SQL, AD/AAD, IT Security).
Allocate workload, monitor progress, and ensure projects stay on track (scope, timeline, budget).
Support pre-sales activities, assess risks, and help qualify opportunities.
Handle escalations and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
Hire, onboard, and mentor team members, supporting their growth and development.
Drive continuous improvement and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
Collaborate closely with remote/global teams to support hybrid delivery models.
What we need to see from you
7+ years of experience in IT services delivery (incl. hands-on technical delivery).
Proven track record in leading delivery teams and managing customer relationships.
Strong people leadership: coaching, feedback, mentoring, conflict resolution.
Service delivery expertise with understanding of risks, escalations, and customer impact.
Project management experience in implementing and maintaining technical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Excellent English communication skills (Russian/Kazakh is a plus).
Relevant certifications in Microsoft or service delivery areas are an advantage.
