This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure exceptional service standards, foster teamwork, and maintain a welcoming environment for both guests and staff._ **_Key Responsibilities_** **_Operations & Guest Service_** _Supervise and coordinate front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction._ _Ensure team members work collaboratively to meet service standards and respond promptly to guest needs._ _Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies and equipment, cleaning of work areas, and securing the premises._ _Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout service hours, adhering to “clean-as-you-go” practices._ _Monitor dining areas for seating availability, guest safety, and overall experience._ _Report any incidents involving employees, guests, or vendors to management and Loss Prevention immediately._ _Document and communicate relevant operational information to management._ **_Leadership & Staff Management_** _Support management in recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions._ _Motivate and coach team members, serving as a role model for professional conduct and service excellence._ _Uphold company policies, safety protocols, and security procedures._ _Maintain a professional appearance and ensure team compliance with uniform standards._ _Operate effectively across multiple areas including In-Room Dining, Restaurants, and Banquets, demonstrating flexibility and strong all-rounder skills._ _Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), align team operations accordingly, and inspire associates to deliver flawless service._ _Design, coordinate, and deliver F&B-related training to upskill and motivate staff, supporting a culture of continuous improvement._ _Demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills to manage rosters, event paperwork, and operational reporting._ **_Guest Relations_** _Greet and acknowledge guests in accordance with company standards._ _Anticipate and address guest needs, including assistance for individuals with disabilities._ _Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues._ _Express genuine appreciation to guests and foster a positive dining experience._ **_Operational Standards_** _Ensure adherence to quality and service expectations._ _Conduct visual inspections of equipment and tools to ensure functionality and safety._ _Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift._ _Navigate confined or elevated spaces, stairs, and service ramps as required._ _Execute other duties as assigned by management._ **_Critical Tasks_** _Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures._ _Safeguard the privacy and security of guests and colleagues._ _Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information._ _Ensure uniform, name tags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, and compliant with company standards._ _Protect company assets including tools, equipment, and machines._ _Respond to guest service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner._ _Support colleagues to ensure adequate coverage and prompt guest service._ _Greet every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using their name when possible._ _Anticipate guest needs by asking questions and observing preferences and act on them whenever possible._ _Actively listen and respond positively to guest inquiries and concerns using brand-specific service protocols (e.g., LEARN, PLEASED, Guest Response, LEAP)._ _Provide guidance and assistance to coworkers to ensure task clarity._ _Engage in effective communication with team members to exchange information._ _Treat all colleagues with dignity and respect, fostering a supportive work environment._ _Build and maintain positive working relationships across departments._ _Collaborate with others to promote teamwork and achieve shared goals._ _Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go practices._ _Assist your own and other departments as needed to ensure optimal guest service._ **_Qualifications_** _Previous supervisory experience in Food & Beverage operations within hotels, restaurants, or events._ _Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills._ _Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment._ _Excellent organizational and administrative skills._ _Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays._ _Hospitality graduate preferred._ _At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
