Your Impact

As Team Lead, Master Data Services- Finance, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely maintenance of service master data. Your leadership will directly support operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance across Newmont’s Finance function. 

As Part of Our Team, You Will Supervise day-to-day master data creation, updates, and maintenance.Ensure adherence to data governance standards, policies, and procedures.Oversee data cleansing, enrichment, and quality improvement activities.Monitor performance against data quality metrics and lead corrective actions.Generate reports on master data compliance and quality indicators.Coach and guide team members, review their work, and allocate tasks effectively.Escalate and resolve data-related issues while driving process enhancements.Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Management, Science, or equivalent years of experience. Strong accounting and/or finance background. Strong understanding of MDM systems, data governance, and database management.Proficient in data input and service delivery to quality standards.Experience implementing data management tools and new technologies.Effective communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills.Ability to identify issues, adapt behaviors, and support a positive team culture.Your Work Environment You will be part of Newmont’s Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Costa Rica, working within the Finance function. The role is people-focused and involves cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders across People, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain teams. You’ll work in a hybrid, dynamic environment, balancing leadership responsibilities with strategic project execution.This role is for the day shift schedule.Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Compensation will be aligned with the local Costa Rican market and paid in Costa Rican colones (CRC).Why Join Newmont
