The primary role of the Manufacturing Lead is the responsibility of coordinating daily production operations by prioritizing of operations, ensuring staff are trained to procedures prior to performing operations, communicating roadblocks to the Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager and supporting departments, as well as troubleshooting and issuing resolution in order to ensure we deliver quality products on time to our customers. The Manufacturing Team Lead will also be required to identify and make recommendations for areas of improvements and assist with implementation when appropriate. In addition, you will support two-way communication through department meetings and various collaboration processes.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Coordinate and assign work to the various associates to meet the production schedule to meet customers’ OTD due dates.Operates powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material.Ensure that all operations are performed in accordance to Quality Procedures.Ensure all associate's training is detailed and current.Optimally communicate associate’s performance as well as operational status via verbal and electronic means.Demonstrate initiative and be a reliable source of communication within your dept. as well as all other related departments.Develop new, more efficient manufacturing processes.Perform troubleshooting to identify the cause of any defects during the manufacturing process.Facilitate regular cycle counting and corrections of inventory as necessary.Observes and follows all safety regulations and company policies.Supports VES  activities such as standard work 5s execution, uses VES  tools provided by Veralto .Maintains clean, orderly, and safe work area.Maintains a commitment to collaboration and a positive, supportive demeanor to all personnel.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Experience:  Minimum 5 years’ experience required, preferably in a manufacturing working environmentPrior Team Lead or Supervisory experience a plusEducation: High School Diploma or equivalentSpecific: Basic knowledge of Mfg. and Production Scheduling. Basic knowledge of how to read and understand engineering drawings and/or blueprints to Manufacture product line per specifications. Basic knowledge of how to read a work order and a BOM.Strong computer skills – ability to build presentations, spreadsheets, documents. Oracle software knowledge is a plus

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $26.00 - $29.00 USD per hour.
